Some teething problems for event number 1

Unfortunately, we installed the front struts wrong. They rotated and took out the tire we rebuilt last night. Hopefully there’s no damage to the shock. Working on a solution to install correctly and have enough clearance.

We’ll get the car back to JXB Performance tonight and hopefully get everything inspected tomorrow and come up with a solution for next weekend. We might have to come up with some sort of spacer or something to make the front shocks work.

Thankfully everyone over at BimmerWorld was super helpful and responsive to helping diagnose where we went wrong here.

One thing we learned before everything went bad is the car is FAST. It handles absolutely amazing. I think once we get passed all the teething it will be a menace out there! I didn’t get a time on the only run I had because I caught the guy in front of me.

MCS coming in clutch overnighting a new shock and letting me send this one back for a rebuild.
